Pie Irons Are Added To ACampersDream.com.

February 7, 2004--Pie Irons have been added to ACampersDream.com inventory. They are great additions to fireplace or outdoor camping equipment.

You use these to roast marshmallows or to make whole meals. They are used over open fires only. That's why they have long handles. Good ones are made from cast iron and can either be held over the fire or put right in the fire (like a dutch oven).

They're much easier to use than setting up a grill. All you have to do is put the meat, dough or batter in them, close and lock the lid and cook.
